Frogs Run Too!, Is a short rhyming picture book about a young frog named Duke.

Duke wants to be a runner in The Animal-Olympic Games, a fantasy that he has dreamed about for his entire life. The trouble is that frogs have only ever contended in jumping events, and anyone he talks to, only mocks him for wanting to do something different.

The story is humorous, not too wordy, with strong characterisations. Written for children up to ten-year-olds (But is enjoyable for all ages,) it has a lesson that you should not be afraid to follow your dreams.

I hope you enjoy reading Frogs Run Too! The illustrations created for the book by a very talented Brighton artist: Max Ardron.

About the author:

Michael  John  Wiltshire  is  a  new  children's  writer, but no stranger to the trade.  Being  a  freelance  script and  story  consultant, there isn't a genre he hasn't tackled, with  numerous  books  written  under  various pen  names,  it's good to see him finally in print as himself.

Usually a writer of satire,  Michael  commented  that "It was quite refreshing to do something open,  and  I l ove being  silly  for a younger audience."

When asked if any other children's books are on the cards he simply said: "Watch this space."

With a  romance  novel  due  on  for  release at the end of  this  year  and  a crime  caper  under the same name, we certainly hope he has the time to fit another in soon.

Duke was just an average frog, Born and raised on Marshy Bog. Though growing up his legs would bend, Slightly more than all his friends.

When his dad asked curiously “Son, what would you like to be?”

“I'd like to run my way to fame In the Animal-Olympic games.”

“The Animal-Olympic games? Are you blooming mad-insane?

Hop, hop, hop, that’s what we do Frogs can jump, but they can’t run too!
